Newegg CPU Recall – An Obvious Prank, Made In China

You might have heard of computer supplier Newegg accidentally shipping computer builders boxed “processors”.

This is no ordinary counterfeit import issue – I found a nice article describing the shipments – the CPU was a piece of lead, with a sticker of a fan attached to a “heatsink” piece of molded plastic. And, of course, the usual translation issues.
