I was about 6-8 years old when I won the archaic DOS “roguelike-like” game Castle Adventure by Kevin Bales. It was recently mocked on the ASCII Art Farts blog If you don’t get the joke (should be funny to anyone who’s played an 80s/90s adventure game), download the game Castle Adventure (needs DOSBox at a [...]

From the Mises Institute. I remember them publishing this before but it’s not on my blog. Ducktales Inflation Lesson I left a comment on the Mises Institute blog, which states this: What’s great about this video is that inflation is not described merely as an increase in prices due to manipulation of the money supply, [...]

Diablo II is getting tough. Any possibility of addiction is not coming true. The shoutbox breaks the Cynthia Says compliance, so this page is no longer compliant with those standards and the button has been removed. The tapes are all backed up. They rock.

Sorry for the lack of updates. A few weeks ago, I won a lot of 20 tapes off eBay, and I’m about halfway done backing them up to my computer, holding the seller off on a rating. So far all work and great music. The tapes are various obscure and popular 80s pop-metal and pop-rock [...]

There were actually 3 parts to the review I posted yesterday, I only put up Part 2. Here are all 3. Apparently Warner fucks are roughing up minors again, so #3 might get “muted” in its entirety for a Whitesnake clip in the credits (it is muted on other usernames). (Click here for the previous [...]

Wikipedia’s mission of becoming an Internet-based user-edited encyclopedia is looking pretty grim, as its article count is shrinking by the bulk. They give you the deletion page to look at, where you can see that the decisions are made by a democratic process run by obvious teenagers. If you thought Wikipedia was inaccurate before, it’s [...]

Journey’s low-budget video for "Separate Ways" is always criticized. Sure, it’s not like "Take on Me", Peter Gabriel’s stuff, or other early MTV material, but it conveys a simple image of "having fun" (the opposite of, say, this cause of childhood creepiness)
